Sandstorm

Strawberry jelly!

I was shocked today when mention to my son do you want to go for a blast on the bikes
when he said yes. Right lets go then before you change your mind! Seeing that is was
such a long time since the last ride out we thought it would be best to do a short lap around
hopcott with the trusty gopro. I must say the bike feels really go at the mo managed to sort
the rebound and that bloody GATE! So here are the strava results nothing fantastic but quality
time spent with John.      http://app.strava.com/rides/19783093 . Followed by the usual slide show
and the VT    http://youtu.be/6HqAHMyZ4C0   Happy days!

Uphill Downhill.

Hurlstone point.

It was a foggy  today as we set off from the weir on our usual route
this time with an added extra, when we reached the top of Porlock hill
we crossed over the road  onto Porlock common on a route used
by the exmoor explorer, following the track down into homebush
woods and onto Porlock and then back to the weir.
Check out the you tube clip for the downhill run,

Foggy mountain.

Misty.
Last wk i went for a blast with my mate Gaz, but after viewing my gopro footage
i was not to happy because i didn't set up the camera properly on my new chest strap
right and all i had was view of my knees and handlebars.
So today i was determined to re ride part of the route from last wk with a few
adjustments.

I could see the fog hanging over the hills as i set off just up from
Porlock weir through the woods and on to the toll
road, and then back down into the woods discovering a new
downhill route, anyway it was a good lap and i feel good now I've had my fix.

Here is the link for the pictures, enjoy!http://youtu.be/JL7oSRBuKcc
With many thanks to Lester Flatt & earl Scruggs for the music titled
foggy mountain, and used in the film Bonnie and Cyde.

Porlock hill wet and windy.

Lovely brekkie.
My friend and Gaz decided it would be a good idea to do a lap of porlock hill , nice one heres another chance to try the gopro again. I thought that i would do a mix of pics with some down hill footage because i bought a new chest stap for it. We parked up at porlock wier and the sky looked dark i was gonna say can we just pay a visit to exmoor cooking co but then realised that i only just had breakfast. Anyway we had a good blast and half way we stopped to check the view Gaz pointed out that as the saying goes, apparently if you can see Wales its gonna rain and if you cant then it already is! Ceck out the stats at strava. http://app.strava.com/rides/15866021. we covered 8.7 miles with 1800 ft of elevation, a pictures of the ride at youtube. http://youtu.be/_ORhTM2nzWA. Not to mention we did finish up at exmoor cooking co cheers!
